Toyota Landcruiser Prado 4×4 diesel has a strong engine ready to take you anywhere even without engaging the 4×4, though these car have this in built option.We do not recommend the petrol engine model as they are less powered and problematic on safari trips. The Prado has an automatic gearbox, 4wd (auto 4Hi/4Low), 4 seats, air conditioning, power steering, radio with Bluetooth/ aux/ usb, airbags passenger + driver. It comes with or without a roof top tent and all terrain tyres. The vehicle is outfitted with a single fuel tank that carries 90 liters.

If you travel with 4 persons it won’t have much space for your luggage and camping equipment. So if you are lodge based, it will suit your needs. Otherwise we advice a more spacious vehicle like the Toyota Hilux. However with 2 persons, this vehicle provides plenty of space for the self-drive.

In summary, the Prado is a great option for the selfdrive adventurer. It will take you to any place you want but can limit you in some places in the North and during off road driving.
