Driving Licence

A valid driving licence from the country of residence or an international driving permit  is required. The hirer must be over 25 years of age and have held a valid driving licence for a minimum of 24 months. He must also be in possession of proper means of identification other than a driving licence.

Caution self drive Deposit

A deposit equivalent to the estimated total cost of the hire plus KShs. 20,000/= is required by credit card. Final adjustments will be made on completion of the hire.

Covid-19

Bookings cancelled due to the pandemic are refundable within one year.No cancellation fees charged.However the reservation can be kept open to be utelized within a duration of two years.

Insurance

A compulsory daily insurance charge is payable by the hirer. All our vehicles are insured but in all cases (unless by wilful or negligent damage) the first usd. 1000/= of any damage is payable by the Hirer . Loss/damage of tyres, tools,camping equipment and windscreens/glasses are not covered by insurance.

Theft Protection

The vehicle must be locked when unattended. The vehicle must not be parked in a public area for long periods. The Hirer is responsible for the security of vehicle and in the event of theft is liable for payment of usd. 1000/=. The Hirer must not carry passengers for reward or gain.

Car Hire Agreement

Self drive cars are hired subject to the Company's standard form of agreement. Notwithstanding the above conditions the Company reserves the right to refuse a hire at any time without assigning any reasons.Night driving is not allowed.

Petrol and Oil

Self drive rates exclude petrol, border taxes and engine oil.

Calculated from base to base.
